The last meeting between the Golden Eagles and the Bulldogs occurred on November 19, 2021, with Southern Miss emerging victorious with a 35-19 scoreline.
In the immediate future, Southern Miss, under the guidance of fourth-year head coach Will Hall, is preparing to kick off the 2024 season against Kentucky. The Golden Eagles will travel to face the Wildcats on August 31, with the game scheduled for a 6:45 p.m. kickoff, streaming on the SEC Network. Additionally, the team will commence its fall camp on July 31, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
